“When looking for a photographer, my husband and I were very picky because neither of us are very comfortable with our pictures being taken. When my mom and I met with Michelle, I immediately knew that she was going to be who I wanted there with us on our day. I felt like she was an old friend that I was catching up with. During our engagement photos, she did a great job at making us laugh so the candid photos didn’t look too cheesy, and they looked super natural. She had great ideas for our shot list and the pictures turned out great! During the actual wedding, Michelle was just amazing. I was sick on the day and she was constantly asking me if I needed to sit, or if I wanted water, or if I needed her to hold my flowers, etc. There was at one point when I was all by myself minutes before the ceremony and I was in a lot of pain (plus nerves) and she told me that it’s okay that I’m not feeling 100% okay. No one said that to me the entire day and that made me feel a lot better. She made sure that I was as okay as I could be and that I needed to not keep blaming myself for the way I was feeling. After all of the traditional routines were done in the reception, I went upstairs to lay down and she came up and she said that I had done it and nothing else matters now. We did the dang thing and everything was beautiful but now it was time for me to relax. She and her assistant for the day, Troy, made me feel beautiful even if I wasn’t feeling it, and they were two people I was so happy to have around me. Thank you so much Michelle and Troy!”

She had a ton of photo ideas and was able to pose two people that don’t know their good side or anything else about looking decent in a picture and made us look good! “Michelle was pretty much the perfect choice for our wedding photographer. She worked so well with us I can’t imagine having gone with anyone else. It doesn’t hurt that the pictures turned out fantastic! One of our friends surprised us with the Blackhawks mascot, Tommy Hawk, showing up at the reception. Michelle, my wife and I were probably the only three people who weren’t in on it, and she nailed the surprised look on our faces perfectly.
We actually booked her for puppy portraits after the honeymoon, and she managed the action shots with a running pooch just as deftly as she captured a flying bouquet. I know who we will be contacting for baby announcement photos and newborn portraits when the time comes!
